Software Engineer - WiMAX - WLAN
As a member of the development team,
candidates should be able to contribute
to subsystem architecture design and
write functional specs; develop real-time,
embedded communications software, write
unit, integration, and regression test
plans; write complex automated test
scripts; debug problems; perform unit
and integration tests; identify and
resolve problems found during internal
verification testing or at customer
sites.
REQUIREMENTS:
BSCS/EE with 5+ years experience in
communications software design is highly
desirable; MSCS/EE is a plus.
Candidates should be accomplished Software
Engineers with experience in real time
embedded communications software development.
In-depth knowledge of the LAN/WAN and
network layer protocols, especially
802.11, 802.15, 802.16; proficiency
with internal interfaces and process
interactions and full use and application
of standard networking theories, concepts,
and techniques is expected. Working
knowledge of VxWorks and/or Linux is
mandatory.

work under only general supervision;
to follow established procedures; and,
to have excellent written and verbal
communication, team and people skills.

Hardware / Software Engineer
IPaXiom is looking for an experienced
Radio hardware and software engineers
to join an expanding product development
team. It is essential that you have
an excellent academic history. An operations
background is also of interest but you
will need to demonstrate a broad understanding/awareness
of RF and emerging technologies.
You
will demonstrate at least 3 years solid
experience of radio engineering with
experience of network optimisation,
radio interfaces, analysis and design
with full development lifecycle experience.
You will offer extensive knowledge of
radio planning, optimisation and technologies
(2G, 2.5G, 3G, 3.5G, 4G).
